Returns Policy

LiTime Returns & Exchanges

Within 7 days of delivery: Free returns or exchanges are permitted. We cover all shipping costs for items that are in new, resalable condition, in their original packaging with all included materials and accessories, and fit for resale.

Days 8 to 30: Returns or exchanges are accepted for items meeting the same conditions as above (new, resalable, original packaging with all materials/accessories, and fit for resale).

Shipping Costs Covered by Us: We cover return shipping fees if the item was damaged during transit, has a product defect, does not match the description, is the wrong item, or includes extra/unordered items.

Shipping Costs Covered by Buyer: For all other return reasons, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Processing: Refunds or account credits will be issued within 1-2 business days after we receive and inspect your returned item.

Important Warranty Notice

Modifying the product (including disassembly) voids the warranty. Returns or exchanges for modified products will be refused, and return shipping costs will be borne by the buyer.

Warranty Claim Process (Follow these steps to avoid delays):
To initiate a warranty claim, please provide:

A detailed description of the issue, including when it occurred, the circumstances under which it happened, and any troubleshooting steps already attempted. The full order number and product serial number (SN).

Limited Warranty Policy

LiTime is committed to driving sustainable innovation through pioneering solutions, upholding trust through quality, and delivering value through service. To demonstrate our confidence in product quality, we provide the following limited warranty for all products sold by LiTime, effective from the buyer’s purchase date. If a product fails to meet the quality standards outlined herein (as determined by our technical support team), we will either repair the defective product or replace it with a new or refurbished item compatible with the original, with the same or higher power rating. In special cases where repair or replacement is impossible, we may process a refund. This warranty is subject to the terms below and accompanied by a Warranty Replacement Ratio Correspondence Table detailing replacement costs for specific items.

2. Warranty Coverage

2.1 Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order within 30 minutes of placement. If the order has already been dispatched or picked up and cannot be canceled, contact the carrier to refuse delivery.

2.2 No-Reason Returns

LiTime allows returns within 7 days of delivery for any reason, provided the item and its accessories are undamaged, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. For returns between 8 and 30 days from delivery, returns are permitted under the same conditions, but the buyer will cover return shipping costs. A full refund will be issued for returns within 7 days; for returns between 8 and 30 days, the refund amount will be reduced by the return shipping cost.

Notes:

· The return period starts from the delivery date.

· Buyers cover return shipping for non-defective returns.

· Contact us for a prepaid return label; self-arranged returns are not accepted (except for Japan).

Personal Reason Returns

For returns due to personal reasons (e.g., change of mind) within 31 to 90 days from the purchase date, the buyer will cover return shipping costs. The item and its accessories must be undamaged, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. Partial fees may apply; refer to Section 4.2 for refund details.

4. Defective Product Returns

4.1 Replacement Options

LiTime offers replacements for defective products based on the age of the order at the time of the claim:

For orders ≤12 months old: Replacement with a new product at no additional cost to the buyer.

For orders 12–60 months old: Replacement with a new product; the buyer will pay the price difference between the current price and the depreciated value of the original purchase.

For orders 12–24 months old: Replacement with a refurbished product at no additional cost.

For orders 24–36 months old: Replacement with a refurbished product; the buyer covers return shipping costs.

For orders 36–60 months old: Replacement with a refurbished product; the buyer covers return shipping costs.

Calculation Notes:

· The cost of a new replacement item is calculated as: Current price – (Purchase price – (Monthly depreciation × Months owned) – Return shipping).

· Monthly depreciation is calculated as: Purchase price ÷ Total warranty months.

· The warranty period continues from the original purchase date.

4.2 Refund Amounts

Refunds for defective products are calculated based on the order age, product condition, and return circumstances:

· 3–12 months from purchase: For quality issues with good appearance and no missing accessories, the refund amount is the purchase price - (monthly depreciation × months owned) - return shipping costs.

· 12–24 months from purchase: For the same conditions as above, the refund amount is the purchase price - (monthly depreciation × months owned) - return shipping costs - a processing fee (equal to one-way return shipping cost × 1.1).

· 24–60 months from purchase: Refund amounts vary based on specific circumstances detailed in the full policy.

Additional Notes:

· A full refund is available for returns within 3 months of purchase if the item meets all eligibility conditions.

5. Additional Notes

· Missing Accessories: A deduction of 5–20 per CAD item will be applied (assessed by our support team).

· International Returns: Buyers cover additional shipping costs for remote or island addresses.

· Lost/Stolen Packages: File a claim with the carrier; contact Customer Service for further assistance.

6. Buyer Responsibilities

6.1 Usage Restrictions

· Do not use incompatible chargers or expose the product to overvoltage.

· Do not use non-starter batteries for engine ignition.

· Do not connect batteries in series or parallel unless explicitly permitted in the product documentation.

6.2 Operational Rules

· Avoid liquid exposure, reverse polarity, extreme temperatures, or humidity.

· Prevent physical damage (e.g., impact, puncture).

· Do not disassemble, modify, or repair the product without authorization.

· Protect against corrosion or misuse.

7. Warranty Exclusions

7.1 General Exclusions

LiTime does not cover:

· Normal wear (e.g., case scratches, capacity degradation).

· Damage caused by force majeure (natural disasters, war, etc.).

· Human-induced damage (tampering, water exposure, misuse).

· Issues caused by third parties (theft, unauthorized purchases).

· System errors (e.g., poor ventilation, electrical stress).

· Damage from poor maintenance (e.g., loose terminals, missing pads).

· Violation of usage restrictions.

· 7.2 Additional Exclusions

· Consumable parts.

· Damage from improper storage, transport, or installation.

· Failure to follow product manuals.

After-Service Policy

Refunds or replacements require the returned item to be sent back. The warranty period continues to run from the original purchase date, even after a replacement or refund.

Battery-Specific Warranty Details
LiTime warrants only functional failures of batteries. Capacity fade (reduced battery life over time) or cosmetic issues (e.g., scratches) are not covered.

Warranty Validation
Claims will be denied if:
The product is outside the warranty period.
The issue results from normal wear.
The product shows signs of tampering or damage.
The defect is not manufacturer-related.
The issue stems from improper use or maintenance.

Special Statement
The use of LiTime batteries as backup or primary power sources for life support systems or other medical equipment is strictly prohibited unless LiTime participates in the system design and provides express written authorization. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LiTime disclaims all liability arising from such use. Additionally, LiTime reserves the right to refuse after-sales service for batteries used in these scenarios and shall not be liable for such refusal.

If any provision of this policy is deemed invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
