    Roll the dice

    The battery seemed great at first until I tried running a 1,000 peak watt drill with it when fully charged to 13.3 resting volts. It set off the internal breaker, which resets when you charge it. Now this thing turns off every time I simply switch on my inverter which has a 7 watt idle consumption. It acts like it has bad cells in it judging by how low the voltage is when I start charging it. We will see how customer support responds to this situation

    They came very well packaged with great instructions,state of charge 50%.
    These batteries will be stored and not put in service until April 2025.
    Unable to give a performance review.

    I've been wanting to purchase my batteries for the next camping season. I will not get to set them up until mid spring, however the whole purchase interaction went very well. We recieved our batteries within a couple of days and they were packaged perfectly. It came with all the information and necessary parts to be ready for set up. I look forward to getting full use of them next summer.

    A:

    Yes. LiFePO4 is an inherently safe chemistry and the most stable lithium-type battery on the market. LiTime lithium cells are UL certified for the highest safety and sustainability standards. All LiTime LiFePO4 batteries come with an internal Battery Management System which protects against under-voltage during discharge, over-voltage during charge, over-current during discharge, over-temperature during charge and discharge, and short-circuit protection – protects battery cells from damage. Additionally, LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries have been tested to be free from the risk of fire, and electric shock in harsh environments.

    Q: Can I use LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries as starting batteries?

    A:

    No. LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries are not intended to be used as starting batteries but energy storage, please do not use them to start any devices.

    Q: Can I charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels?

    A:

    Yes, you can charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels.  Here are 3 recommended ways to charge LiFePO4 lithium batteries.

    1. Using Solar Panels

    The LiTime 12V 300Ah battery can be fully charged by in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5hrs/day) by 1200W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥1200W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.

    2. Generator/Alternator

    If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations.

    The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V. The Recommended Charging Current: ① 60A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 150A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.

    Q: Can I charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries in cold weather (under freezing temperatures)?

    A:

    LiFePO4 lithium batteries can safely charge between 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C). LiTime 12V 100Ah TM & 230Ah LiFePO4 batteries include low-temperature charging protection which will automatically cut the battery charging off when the cell temperature is lower than 32℉, thus preventing the battery cells from damage when charging under the freezing point.

    Yes. LiTime 12V deep cycle lithium batteries can be connected 4 in sereis to create a 48V battery system.
