Yes, you can charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels. There are 3 ways to charge.

1. Using Solar Panels

The battery can be fully charged in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5 hrs/day) by 300W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥300W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.

Besides solar panels, there are 2 more ways to charge.

2. Generator/Alternator

If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations. The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V. The Recommended Charging Current: ① 20A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 50A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.

3. LiFePO4 Smart Chargers

To charge 12V battery, it is recommended to use 14.6V battery charger.

The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V.

The Recommended Charging Current: ① 20A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 50A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.

Can I charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries in cold weather (under freezing temperatures)?

Please be aware that this model should only be charged when the battery's temperature is above 32°F (0°C). Charging in freezing temperatures will damage the cells. On cold days, the best practice is to bring the battery indoors to charge.

Regular Recharging: If storing for an extended period, recharge the batteries to 50% at least every three months to prevent deep discharge and maintain cell balance.
Temperature: The ideal storage temperature is between -10°C to 50°C / 14°F to 122°F.
Humidity: Maintain a relative humidity of 5%~95%.
Protective Casing: Can store the batteries in a dedicated battery box to protect them from physical damage, dust, and moisture.

For storage exceeding three months, adhering to these guidelines will significantly preserve your battery's health and performance:

The 100Ah battery I purchased worked WAY past any lead acid battery I've used in the past. Used around 80Ah during field day and absolutely no issues. These batteries pack way more punch, are much lighter, sustain more stable voltages, and last much longer than their Lead Acid Counter parts. If you are a licensed amateur radio operator and are dabbling in portable ops, ditch the lead acids and go for the LiFePO4 batteries. You wont regret it!

i've bought 3 12v 100amp lithium batteries and love all 3. 2 for my 24v trolling motor and 1 for my electronics on the boat. My trolling batteries don't dip below 75% for 10 hours of use. Super impressed with them. The Accessory battery last 10 hours for two graphs and livewell running all day.

Fairly light weight at 80 lbs. Only took about a day to fully charge with solar panels, and it runs my 3000 W inverter with no issues. 400ah is well worth getting instead of 4-100ah batteries connected together due to less wiring and possible loose connections. Highly recommend.
